The search engines LOVE when people add fresh valuable content to the internet. In fact, as you're reading this, the biggest engines down to the smallest ones are ALL out there looking for the answers to the keywords that people are typing into their search boxes.
It's never ending and that's precisely why successful search engine marketing and optimization needs to be honest...because the engines are getting better and better at reading content that is NOT. These computer programs are LEARNING how to sniff out machine drive copy. They are being taught this on a daily basis by the MIT grads and RIT folks who are smarter than I'll ever be.

All of the SEO wizards on the face of the earth tell you the same thing. Concentrate on on page optimization first, then concentrate on off page stuff (like linking.) And while they all have different styles of how they do these two things, they will ALL tell you to do them as NATURALLY as you can if you want to be a long term player in the eyes of the engines.
